Bloody Chainsaw Girl (2016)

Giko is a middle school girl who only wants to get through the year successfully. Sadly for her though her classmates all become zombies and she has to kill them all off using her massive chainsaw.

Yet another slice of over the top madness that can only come from Japan. Lots of gore, dismemberment, fountains of spraying blood, nudity and even a young girl whos vagina fire rockets are all present and correct. Sadly, as with a lot of these types of movies the CGI gore looks really bad, although there are some practical effects thrown in and those are fine. The acting isn't great but it serves it's purpose although that doesn't really matter here as the movie is a lot of fun and very silly and the performances fit in with that. I've always had a soft spot for these strange Japanese gore movies so I was always going to find plenty of entertainment here. It's not a good movie by any stretch, but if you've seen and enjoyed films like Gothic And Lolita Psycho, Zombie Ass: The Toilet Of The Dead or RoboGeisha then you'll want to check this one out.
