Bordello Of Blood (1996)

My rating - 6/10

A seemingly normal funeral home hides a dark secret, a brothel populated by vampires.

This is the second movie to come from the Tales From The Crypt tv show and our old friend the Cryptkeeper returns to introduce it. It's a fun and often very gory slice of cheese that definitely doesn't take itself too seriously. The cast is good and features appearences from Dennis Miller, Erika Eleniak, Chris Sarandon and Corey Feldman. The perfomances are good and everyone looks to be having fun in their roles. The film is well made and the score is also fun.

The star of the show is of course the gore effects, of which there are many. They are fun and well executed with some boardering on the gross. Hearts ripped out and eaten, blood spraying everywhere, body parts torn off, heads squished, it's all here. I've always enjoyed this one and if you're looking for a movie to enjoy with some beer, pizza and friends then Bordello Of Blood should keep you entertained.
