50 years ago a powerful sorcerer's village was burned down. He's now taking regence on the grandchildren of the man who did it by casting a spell on them, a spell that infests them with centipedes.

This Hong Kong nasty developed a bit of a reputation in the tape trading days of VHS as being a pretty nasty and vile movie that only those with the strongest of stomaches should watch. Sadly, when people managed to finally get their hands on a copy most were disappointed. Sure, there's plenty of skin crawling scenes involving lots of very real centipedes, and a quite gross scene of a woman vomiting up some of them, but for the most part it's quite slow moving.

If you have a phobia of centipedes then you'll definitely want to give this a wide birth, for everyone else you'll be treated to an okay movie with some fairly poor acting, dumb dialogue and a few decent gore effects. I do have a soft spot for this one though as it was one of the first "disturbing" films I saw back in my youth, I got it on VHS on a double bill with Beasts, a HK Last House On The Left type movie.

If you want to see something a little different then I'd give it a mild recommendation, just don't expect the disgusting, over the top grossfest that some will have you think you're going to watch.
