A random group of people are given tickets to attend a screening of a mysterious movie a cinema. Once inside they find themselves trapped and one by one are attacked and transform into snarling demons.

Does this make a lot of sense?, No!. Is it awesome?, Hell yeah!. Great music, lots of over the top gore, plenty of over the top acting and some insane scenes that will have you thinking WTF am I watching. Everythinng here is secondary to the practical gore effects and on that front this films totally delivers. Demon transformations, throat ripping, eye gouging, stabbings, scalping, faces sliced, puss oozing, demon vomit and so much more.

Fans of Italian cinema will spot Michele Soavi as the strange masked man handing out tickets at the train station, and the absolutely stunning Nicoletta Elmi appears as the usherette. There are a few genuinely creepy moments, especially one showing the glowing eyed demons appearing at the top of some stairs. The soundtrack is also amazing with songs from Billy Idol, Saxon, Accept, Motley Crue among others.

Grab some beer and a pizza, if you have a strong stomach that is, sit back and enjoy this slice of Italian madness. It was a VHS staple back in the day and it's still loved by a whole new generation of horror fans on DVD/Blu-ray today. Highly recommened!.
