Four friends head into the woods for some camping fun only to hunted down by a savage killer.

There were numerous slasher movies in the 80s and this is easily one of the worst. Filmed on a very low budget the direction, acting and script are all pretty bad. There's quite a bit of gore and on occasion it's not too bad so at least they tried on that front. Between scenes of the main 4 characters wandering around we're introduced to various other characters who get killed off in a couple of minutes and then it's back to the other 4 wandering around some more, and that's pretty much it.

The soundtrack is just strange synth noises until the end where we're treated to a rendition of the teddy bears picnic song that has to be heard to be believed. Banned in the UK as a video nasty back in the early 80s it remained on the list to become one of the infamous final 39. Why this happened is anyone's guess but it exposes just how dumb the whole nasties debacle was that something like this could stay on there until the very end.

Despite all this though there's something strangely entertaining about this crappy little movie. If you haven't seen it before then it's worth checking out at least once, but you may find yourself going back to it again then wishing you hadn't.
