Dr Jekyll And Sister Hyde (1971)

While attempting to create an elixir of life Dr. Henry Jekyll accidently creates a serum that transforms him into a beautiful woman. Sadly the female side of him has murderous intentions and soon that female side starts to grow stronger and threatens to consume him.

This is a wonderful little twist on the Jekyll And Hyde story with Ralph Bates and Martine Beswick doing an excellent job in their roles and there's a good supporting cast too. The transformation scene from man to woman is done very well and still looks great today. There's a ton of atmosphere, a little nudity and even a little gore added in for good measure. This is a Hammer movie that's not really talked about much, but if you're a fan of British horror and have only seen the Dracula movies so far then don't skip on this one. You'll find some hidden gems in the Hammer catalogue if you dig a little deeper and this is one of them. In fact I'd go as far to say it's among Hammer's best.
