A scientist and his assistant develop a device called a Resonator which when turned on stimulates the pineal gland and activating a sixth sense. The experiment goes wrong leading to a series of horrific events.

The crew and cast of Re-Animator return for another slice of wonderfully gory fun. Lots of amazing practical effects, some of which actually border on disgusting. Jeffery Combs, Barbara Crampton and Ken Foree are all excellent, and any movie that has Barbara Crampton dressed in a leather dominatix outfit is a must see.

Wether you prefer this or Re-Animator will depend on your personal taste but they really work well together as a double bill. This is a wild, often quite funny slice of H.P. Lovecraft madness that's very entertaining and it's a movie I'd highly recommend for those with a strong stomach.
