After surviving a car accident and recovering from brain surgery Virginia attends the upperclass Crawford academy where she gets in with a small group of elite students. Soon the members of the group start to die off one by one in grisly fashion and Virginia begins to think she be may commiting the crimes as she has no memory of what she was doing at the time of the murders.

One of the more interesting entries in the slasher genre. The acting, direction and gore are all a step up from the usual stuff you'd expect from this type of movie. It had the tagline "six of the most bizarre murders you'll ever see" and it does live up to that with some inventive deaths, including an eyewatering one involving a set of weightlifting weights. The gore is good too and there quite a bit of it which also helps elevate this one.

The big reveal at the end may bring it slightly down for some, although I personally liked it and overall this is definitely one of the better slashers and well worth checking out if you haven't already. There's some good suspense and a few genuine scares and it was one of the rare wins for UK viewers as the cinema and VHS releases were taken from a slighly longer cut with more gore to a couple of the death scenes. Sadly the DVD releases contained the shorter R rated version.
