Suffering Bible (2018)

Stories from the Bible are presented in twisted, violent and gory versions.

Not really an anthology movie, more of a series of set pieces. The wraparound segment, which we cut back to after each segment features a naked guy with a bandaged head crawling along the ground until he meets another person at the end of the movie. There's an apple too so I'm guessing this must be an Adam and Eve thing?, I don't really know. As for the rest of the segments, I have no idea what they're supposed to represent as I've very little knowlage of the Bible and have no interest in looking into it to try and figure any of this out.

There's lots of nudity, stabings, eye violence, innards being pulled out and smeared over body parts. There's some self mutilation including a nasty bit of clitiros abuse, some torture and lots of blood. Sadly though that's all it has to offer unless you've studied the Bible enough to figure out what any of it means. The effects are decent considering the movie was obviously made on a very low budget. The acting, such as it is, is fine. There's very little in the way of dialogue and the mix of B/W and colour footage doesn't really add much. If you're just looking for some gore and violence with little else then give it a watch as there's a few fun moments, other than that though you'll probably not find yourself going back to it more than once.
