A family install a new satalite dish in their home but it starts picking up signals from outer space and the dish becomes a portal/highway for an alien creature to arrive.

Your enjoyment of this movie will depend on your tolorance for cheesy 80s nonsense. The film is dumb as hell and yet it has a strange charm and can be quite enjoyable if you're in the right mood. It's full of overacting, silly dialogue, fun effects and a wonderfully rubber looking alien, so if that's your thing then give it a go.

The cast, including Diane Franklyn and Gerrit Graham all look like they were having fun making it and it does have it's moments of gooey grossness along the way. It's gained a bit of a cult following now so if you're into 80s cheese then give it a watch, just grab some beer and switch off your brain before hitting the play button.
