The Alien Dead (1980)

After a meteor crashes into a houseboat the owners turn into flesh hungry zombies. Once they've eaten all the river creatures they head in land to feast on local townsfolk.

Buster Crabbe stars in this z-grade clinker from Fred Olen Ray. Filmed with virtually no money, and it shows, this movie plods along but tries to keep you interested with bouts of mild nudity, very poor gore effects and genuinely bored looking zombies. The acting, direction and production is bottom of the barrel and even at only around 74 mins most will find it too long.

I've always had a soft spot for these types of movies and I probably enjoy it a little more than most people, but even I struggle to sit through it as long sections are just too talky and slow moving. If you're into bad movies then it's worth at least one watch but I doubt you'll find a reason to go back to it after that.
