A young girl sees her brother murder their mother's boyfriend as she's looking in a mirror. Years lalter the mirror gets smashed and the spirit of the murdered boyfriend is unleashed to seek revenge.

This low budget supernatural horror film is high on atmosphere and contains some genuinely creepy moments. Suzanna Love is great in the lead role and the rest of the cast also do a good job. Scenes of Love's character having her shirt ripped off and being draged half naked along the floor by the evil spirit add an uneasy sleaze appeal. The gore is also quite decent with a spike entering the back of someones head and out through his mouth and a woman stabbing herself in the throat with some scissors are the highlights. There's some good lighting too and the score is excellent

Once banned in the UK as a video nasty, it was released with cuts for a while and then eventually released fully uncut which is the version widely seen today. This was one of the better movies to make the list and is well worth tracking down.
