Margaret Walsh, an American interior decorator is offered a big paying job in England. She travels there with her boyfriend but they are involved in an accident while on their motorbike. They are taken to a large country mansion to recover but soon see other people arrive. They discover that everyone is there for a specific reason and Margaret soon realises that the accident and her presence at the house may not be by chance.

I've always had a soft spot for this creepy superatural chiller. It has a great cast including Katherine Ross, Sam Elliott, Charles Grey and The Who's Roger Daltrey who owned the mansion this was filmed in. He agreed to let them use it if he could have a role in the movie so the writers created his character. There's a couple of nice creepy scenes, especially one where Margaret and Pete try to escape in a car but every road they go down and no matter which way they go they just end up back at the house.

There's deaths by choking, drowning, shooting, burning and shattered glass, all of which are quite nasty and done well. The film definitely borrows from movies like The Omen and Suspiria and overall the production, acting and effects are very good. I'd defnitely recommend this one for those who enjoy supernatural horror movies.
