When restrictions are downgraded after a pandemic and people start to go about their normal lives again the virus mutates and people become very violent and bloodthristy. A young couple try to find each other again as the town decends into madness.

Your enjoyment of this Asian horror movie will depend on your tolorance for extreme gore, sexual violence and gross out moments. There's lots of all three here and thankfully most of the gore was done with practical effects. A lot of the gore here is impressive and often wince inducing, especially for those that are not used to it. The acting is pretty good from all involved and the story is fine, although the script could probably do with a little polishing. It doesn't really matter though as the talking takes second place to the blood spraying gore.

The movie is well made and after a slightly slow start it soon picks up. I find this one a lot of fun as I love explcit and graphic gore. It's not for everyone and if you're someone who gets offended or upset when it comes to sexual violence then it may be wise to give this one a miss. For gorehounds though this one comes recommended.
