The owner of a small cable tv station is always on the look out for something more sensational. One day he comes across something called Videodrome but after watching it he's plunged into a nightmare world of hallucinations and murder that changes his perception of reality.

James Woods and Deborah Harry are both excellent in this strange and often disturbing movie directed by the great David Cronenberg. The acting is very good from all involved, the story is great, the practical gore effects are wonderfully gross and there's definitely plenty here to make you think.

It's a movie that may be a bit too strange for some, but for me it's easily my favourite Croenberg movie and one of my favourite movies full stop. I'd highly recommend this to those looking for something a bit different and who can handle some graphic body horror gore. Long live the new flesh!.
