Zombie Ass: The Toilet Of The Dead (2011)

The title of this movie says it all. This is another slice of Japanese insanity that gives us gore, comedy, grossness, action, bodily fluids, fart clouds, nudity, tenticle creatures and literal shit zombies that rise up from a toilet covered in poop!. Obviously not a movie to be taken seriously, but for some it may get a little too disgusting to be enjoyed. I was throughly entertained though!.

After her builied sister kills herself a young karate student goes with some friends to the woods where they enounter a scientist who's performing experiments on zombies using a strange parasite. The acting is fine with some fun overacting. Obviously made on a low budget the practical effects are decent but some of the CGI gore and effects vary wildly as they do in a lot of these types of movies.

Genuinely a movie that will leave you thinking "WTF did I just watch?", but if you go in with low expectations then there's plenty of fun to be had. The actress playing Maki was suffering from an upset stomach during filming so the outhouse scene where she has diarrhea and was holding her stomach in discomfort was all real. She had to try real hard not to actually poop on the actor who was in the toilet playing the zombie.

If you're in the mood for a good movie then give this a miss, but, if you're looking for something different that could only be made in Japan and poop and fart humor is your thing then I'd recommend this one!.
