Hammer House Of Horror - Episode 2 - The Thirteenth Reunion

Ruth is a reporter for the woman's section of a newspaper and is always on the lookout for a big story. She's asked to do a report on a weight loss programme. She signs up for the ten week course but is surprised to find that it involves a lot of quite extreme measures. After a friend she makes there is killed she starts to dig a little deeper only to find the people who run the course hide a very dark secret.

Some good atmosphere and a couple of decent scares make this second entry in the series a fun watch. There's also some quite dark humour running through it too and Julia Foster makes for a fun lead. You'll probably see the twist ending coming a mile off but it's still a fun ride getting there. 6.5/10.
